It's a win-win that just makes sense.
Gerald Dunne founded MedMatch after a long career in executive leadership and business ownership. His experience in global operations is the basis for MedMatch's direct approach to international healthcare staffing. Gerald saw that the strong demand for skilled nurses in the U.S. and the many qualified professionals in the Philippines presented a natural opportunity to create a sustainable business that helps people on both sides.
Gerry's Experience
Growing a Public Company: As the former CEO of a NASDAQ-traded company, he grew the business to over 200,000 subscribers, demonstrating his ability to scale operations.
Decades of Executive Work: He spent over two decades as Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing in telecommunications, where he gained deep experience in understanding what clients need and how to deliver it.
Early International Work: He was one of the first to develop offshore contact centers. This early work showed his ability to recognize global talent and build systems to connect it with U.S. markets.

Jaz Villanueva is the co-founder and the on-the-ground leader of MedMatch in the Philippines. Her insight and operational skills were essential in shaping our clear and effective process. She brings a personal understanding of the Filipino nursing community, ensuring our work is not just about logistics but about respecting the people and culture at the heart of our mission.

Building a Seamless Process: Jaz built the credentialing and training programs that help Filipino nurses seamlessly move into the U.S. healthcare system.
Cultural Readiness: She created the cross-cultural training to help nurses adapt and succeed in their new work environments, focusing on making sure they feel prepared and supported.
Finding Top Talent: Jaz developed strategic partnerships with top nursing schools in the Philippines to secure a consistent stream of highly-qualified nurses.
